Reliability based mechanical integrity (RBMI)
Lloyd's Register Energy business provides reliability based mechanical integrity services to the chemical, petrochemical, refining, and oil and gas exploration and production industries, both on and offshore.
Lloyd's Register’s Energy business Reliability Based Mechanical Integrity (RBMI℠) program incorporates a fully integrated risk based inspection (RBI) software package and provides risk assessment for pressure vessels, piping, storage tanks, heat exchangers (including bundles), relief devices, sub sea structures, pipeline and user configurable assets.
Our reliability-based mechanical integrity programs make our clients' facilities safer and more reliable by reducing the risk of an uncontrolled release of highly hazardous chemicals while providing for an optimized and more cost effective inspection program.
The program and associated work process are the first to manage the full cycle of the RBI maintenance process in its entirety which includes generation of criticality calculations for individual components, dynamic inspection plans, the ability to store inspection data, and the ability to update criticality and the inspection plans based upon the latest information.
